PPN 006 requirements

Scope 1 emissions

Your Scope 1 emissions include on-site combustion of fossil fuels for heating a building, plus all the petrol or diesel used by fleet vehicles based at this location.

Scope 2 emissions

The Scope 2 emissions in your Carbon Reduction Plan come from electricity used in buildings, plus charging of any electric fleet vehicles.

Scope 3 emissions

Your Scope 3 carbon includes 15 categories of indirect emissions, like the emissions of suppliers in your value chain. It also includes employee emissions. Only some of these categories are currently required for PPN reporting.
